Most Chiropractors prefer a 17x17" wired flat panel detector system for X-ray. This form factor provides a full-field of view to reduce image cut-off and make patient positioning easier.

Wired LG detectors are powered via a 21' umbilical cable that gets routed along the wall to a power supply and hidden during installation. The power supply box connects the detector to the PC and transmits patient images to the screen in mere seconds (1-3 sec).

Since nearly all Chiropractic exams are performed at the wall-stand, these installations are considered "semi-permanent". This means the detector can be secured in to the cassette-tray for the life of the product. Choosing a wired detector option eliminates the risks associated with handling the detector multiple times per day to change batteries. Wired DR systems also have a more favorable cost-of-ownership due to their lower entry price and the absence of expensive batteries.

LG 17x17" Wired Cesium (CsI) detectors are cassette-sized to fit in your standard tray and include an Interface Power Unit with 21' (7m) image transmission cable and a 25' Cat-6 Ethernet cable. Plenty of cabling to position all components where you want them in your X-ray room. All systems include a Lenovo business-grade workstation with a 24" touch screen LCD.
